The Role Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure solutions across various cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement end-to-end cloud-based solutions. Develop and implement best practices for cloud platform deployments, including building for observability, future maintenance, and good customer experiences. The target is that you’ll “own” the code and features into production, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to the platform. You’ll engage with new technologies on behalf of research & development; take on technical challenges even when documentation is sparse or unknown; and stay on top of industry trends and best practices in SRE. Develop & maintain documentation related to system configurations and procedures. Skills/Experience Needed CI/CD environment experience (Github Action, Azure DevOps or similar). Multiple cloud hosting provider experience (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.) and Multi-tenant Cloud management experience. Good experience with Linux OS management. Experience with IaC – writing/debugging Terraform/TFE scripts, Bicep/ARM, and pipelines. Good knowledge in performance optimization as applied to Configuration Management platforms and the OSes. Experience in reading/interpreting log files in different formats. Experience with RedHat Satellite and/or Foreman repository configuration & management. Experience with Ansible Automation Platform. Hands-on development experience in some of the following: Python, YAML, Bash, Jinja2 or similar. Hands-on Automation scripting experience. Can understand team members' code and adhere to their style to establish team-wide consistency. Decent hands-on debugging experience. Solid understanding of Git/GitHub version control operations. Experience troubleshooting errors from a system administration viewpoint. Hands-on experience using/managing in OS: RedHat Enterprise Linux (CentOS, Fedora or similar), Ubuntu/Debian Linux. Documentation skills as they relate to the job. Nice to have: Experience maintaining/enforcing security standards: SOC2, CIS Benchmarks, ISP Controls. Permanent role.
