Key Responsibilities of the Role: Assist and support the Quality Manager to achieve the contract quality objectives Support implementation of the quality vision, goals and strategies. Identify, support production of the quality department contractual and company deliverable Verify implementation of contractual requirements Work with commercial/procurement to ensure quality requirements are within the applicable Purchase Order/Contract. Review, endorse, and monitor Vendor/Contractors deliverables Review of all applicable vendor/subcontractor documentation. Review Inspection and test Plans Support the implementation of project procedures and processes Implementation. Oversee Contractor's quality related documentation. Ensuring this meets the specification requirements. Plan and perform quality audits and assessments of the Vendor/contractor and their subcontractors. Plan and perform Internal audits at key stages of work delivery. Raise non-conformances when out of specification requirements are identified and support resolution and close out. Report non-conformances and corrective actions with documented evidence and recommendations for satisfactory resolution. Review project deliverables to ensure quality requirements have been incorporated e.g. Work and test packs. Produce weekly and monthly reports and managed KPI information Supervising the communications contractor and their installations works Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover. Use of Autodesk BIM360 For managing Quality issues. Experience in the field of Mechanical, Electrical or CSA site works would be beneficial. Attending Quality& Construction Whiteboard & Weekly meeting. Chair & record minutes of Quality meeting & share with project audience after wards. Experience in implementing Quality process & procedures. Assist in creating & offering up Benchmarks. A basic knowledge & understanding of ISO:9001;2015 Essential Criteria for the Role: Minimum of 5 years' experience of large multi discipline projects Minimum 10 years' inspection surveillances on client behalf overseeing vendors and sub-contractors work activities on pipework, electrical mechanical, structural steelwork. This role will be mostly based in the Dublin, Leinster region pending availability of work. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Experience in installation of various Sprinkler systems Planning and executing small to medium sized jobs which involves interfacing with clients. Surveying works and Co-ordinating with design team Flexible to travel around the country. Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems. Able to work on own initiative Full drivers' licence. (optional). Liaise and build relationships with clients. Competent in draining / refilling sprinkler systems. Competent in operating fire pumps / related fire alarms. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Management of the Electrical Systems under your control. To support the engineering requirements through managing & liaising with Key Project Stakeholders (Client design team, Main contractor, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, etc). Familiarisation of Design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the Project works. Overseeing the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority. This will require generation/management of Requests for Information (RFI), Technical queries etc. Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Mercury Safety Advisor. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Managementteam. Information reporting will be an essential activity to ensure activity targets/deadlines are met to support the project team. There will be an Engineering Task Log generated and managed by the Engineering Lead Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Mercury, eg: late deliveries. Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete. Management and undertaking of the technical submittal, approvals Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Track deliveries. Management of the material procurement utilising Engineering Materials Report (EMR) by producing material take offs identifying the lead in periods and field need rates. Maintain a weekly project photographic diary Preparing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS. Assessment of Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specifications. Evaluate and promote the use of new engineering practices and processes to enhancedelivery time of the project. Manage BIM priorities i.e. support team to develop modular concepts, Typical fabrication details and Isometrics generation and to release for construction. Validation of materials/assets within the model are also to be verified for construction. Change management is a critical process to be understood and controlled. You will be responsible to support and coach all junior engineers assigned to the project team their development is crucial to our organisation and industry. There may be a requirement to attend project meetings or "White Board Activity Planning sessions. This will depend on the needs of the project and your team manager. Scope of the Role: As a QA/QC inspector you are required to help in the delivery of a zero defect / zero rework project. Our quality goal is "Zero snags at the time of handover to our client". You are required to help deliver your department goals in a forward looking and controlled manner. Key Responsibilities of the Role: 1. Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight Implement and maintain the Mercury QMS in compliance with Mercury SOPs. Assist in the development of any project specific QA work procedures. Assist in the development of any project specific ITPs. Hold Quality Induction Workshops to promote awareness of the project specific requirements. Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams. 2. Inspection & Compliance Conduct and record surveillance / in progress inspections of all work carried out in on the project. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE), customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conduct audits and inspections of electrical products and systems 3. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and verify quality documentation, including inspection reports and certifications. Conduct and record final inspections on all work carried out on the project. 4. Continuous Improvement Develop and monitor KPIs to drive quality improvements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and failures. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to optimize processes. Essential Criteria for the Role: Strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards. Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and KPI development. Experience with internal audits, corrective/preventive actions, and compliance documentation. Familiarity with calibration systems, test plans, and quality documentation. Desired Criteria for the Role: Attention to detail - critical for identifying defects and ensuring compliance. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Champion the development of a professional, competent, and collaborative safety culture across sites. Ensuring that industry-leading health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently planned and executed. Advise and be a positive influence on all matters relating to Safety, Health, Environment and Wellbeing Lead by Example: Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of your role. Lead your team in all areas of EHS. Provide Expert Guidance: Offer sound, industry-leading health and safety advice to project stakeholders, supporting safe and compliant project delivery. Project SMS - Ensure project plans are in place and up to date. Ensure 09-EHS folders & BIM/ACC platforms are up to date. Ensure conformity to Environmental legislation and plans completed and up to date. Inductions & Onboarding - Deliver high standards inductions for new starters and ensure mandatory & role-based competencies are completed. Collaborate - Attend meeting, communicate with project teams and trades in relevant EHS items. Support work planning and collaboration. Conduct Audits and Inspections: Perform thorough audits and inspections at a frequency and level of detail aligned with monthly targets & project risk profile. Monitor site performance and implement improvement initiatives, based on KPIs and trends. Support Incident Investigations: Attend sites following accidents or incidents to assist with investigations. In the absence of the Project Manager, take the lead in conducting the investigation. Engage with Authorities: Liaise with enforcement bodies during site visits or investigations following incidents, ensuring transparent and professional communication. Reporting: Assist the BU EHS Lead in compiling Health and Safety reports at designated intervals. Client Engagement: Meeting clients needs, represent Mercury well and promote Mercury with all clients. Complete reporting as needed. Maintain Coverage: Notify the BU EHS Lead promptly if there is a risk of insufficient Health and Safety coverage on any site. Tender & Ariba Support: Support tender and Ariba prequalification process. Project Start-Up Engagement: Attend project start-up meetings and participate in supply chain meetings & onboarding. Ensure projects set up correctly, including client contractual requirements. Deliver Training: Provide relevant and effective Health and Safety training to site teams and stakeholders.
