A Day in the Life At Medtronic plc, the Senior Packaging Engineer will play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI) by designing, developing, qualifying, and implementing sterile packaging solutions for innovative medical devices within the Cardiovascular portfolio. Our Touch SurgeryTM Video solution is an innovative video management and data analytics platform for hospitals that includes the DS1 Computer, our first OR device, allowing surgeons, OR team members, and trainees to securely access videos of their procedures shortly after surgery. As a Principal Implementation Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in advancing our implementation projects. As part of the Customer Success team, your responsibilities will follow the customer journey, including pre-sales, implementation, Go-live and post-Go-live. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Preparation of the financial statements, audit coordination, statutory filing, and tax filing for France and other jurisdictions Translate US GAAP to local GAAP accounting principles Coordinate and review activities of junior team members and service providers Corporate income tax accounting and reporting for group purposes Prepare finance updates for the local board meetings Participate and lead projects and initiatives to transform, optimize, standardize, and automate audit coordination and statutory, corporate income tax and group reporting, also using LEAN methodology Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor or master's degree in Audit or Accounting from a French University 6+ years relevant working experience in accounting or audit including French GAAP Strong communication and coordinating skills Highly self-motivated, pro-active and results driven Minimum C1 proficiency level in English business language Microsoft Excel intermediate proficiency level Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
