The Store Manager is a leader who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. The Store Manager reports to the District Manager, and together they provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a culture based on the highest quality pet care and exceptional customer service. What you will do Operational Store Excellence - Drive operational excellence in your store by ensuring adherence to store processes and guidelines within the framework of the Corporate Centre Standards. Utilise operational store analytics to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and drive informed decision-making for enhanced store performance. Operational Store Analytics – Exceed company KPI’s, Cash & Stock Management Audit, management of store personnel costs and sales performance. Leadership - Empower your team's growth and success through supportive leadership, training, and a culture of trust and respect. Champion engagement and continuous learning, ensuring every team member thrives and contributes to our shared success. Merchandise and Inventory - Curate an enticing shopping experience with impeccable availability, planogram implementation and ensuring accurate inventory management. Maxi Zoo Ireland are seeking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator for a full time position within our Head Office located in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. This represents an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established purchasing team and grow their retail procurement experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate. Ideally you have proven experience working in a retail environment, strong IT system skills and a passion for pets. Core tasks and Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance of our product assortment Master data file Collaborate with our corporate centre in Germany about new product lines, all correspondence is done in English Setting up new products/ delisting old products Conducting regular competitor analysis and price surveys to ensure our range is in line with market trends Collaborate with our Finance team and support on resolution for any invoice queries Liaise with our store management and operations teams on general queries Update and manage weekly news store communication document Support with general ad hoc purchasing team duties Qualifications and Experience Strong analytical skills with data management experience Strong IT skills, competent Excel user (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) Team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Retail experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field or 1 to 2 years in procurement role desirable Why join us?
