    Mace Ballinalack is currently looking for a Cook to join their Fresh Food Team in Co. Westmeath. This is a full time position with 39 hours - available on rotating weekends. Experience: Minimum 1 years experience in a kitchen Professional qualification (Culinary arts/HACCP) Can work as part of, and lead a team having excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills A positive attitude, dependable and good work ethic who enjoys working in a busy kitchen. Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative. Passionate about delivering great food and presentation of offering In-depth knowledge and experience in fresh food. Experience in ordering for deli departments and managing waste within a fresh food department. Experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPIs Responsibilities will also include: Carry out stock takes and work out the cost price for product and portion control. Seasonal update of offerings Maintain clean working stations whilst adhering to health and safety standards Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment Up-keeping HACCP standards and EIQA records Assist in the induction, training and development of staff in the food production area Oversee and ensure the smooth running of food production operations.
