Contract: Permanent/Full Time Your role The Transitions Category & Insight Team is looking for a Global Category & Portfolio Manager to influence and inform strategic decision making. The penetration of dynamic lenses among total lenses is still undeveloped versus this category potential, making it crucial to raise awareness of consumer needs and to preserve and protect the premiumness of Transitions’ brand and products. Within the company, there is a growing demand for consumer & data-oriented insights to inform category and brand strategy as well as wider business decisions. The role of Global Category & Portfolio Manager will be to support the development and delivery of category assets, category claims, and key transversal Category & Innovation Development projects. The Global Category & Portfolio Manager will need to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate their insights (e.g. R&D Sciences and Innovation team). This role also has the responsibility of educating internally and externally on the category & portfolio positioning and strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain significant experience working within a high impact global team of internal leadership advisers composed of consumer insights and business intelligence experts, and to make a significant impact within the wider EL group. Within the CID team, you will embody the EL group values, particularly: Making the complex simple AND Turning inspiration into impact. In your daily mission, you will have the overall responsibilities to: Develop assets to increase awareness of the category among internal stakeholders, consumers, and ECPs to support the Transitions brand. Develop the Transitions’ portfolio based on consumer expectations with R&D, and position that portfolio in accordance with the consumer journey (including the digital consumer journey). Main responsibilities: Develop category assets to digest strategic insights and analysis to inform the category and product development. Work collaboratively with other teams to integrate their insights into the category assets (e.g. clinically proven claims from the R&D Sciences and Innovation team). Coordinate with different stakeholders at Transitions and at EL group level (e.g. R.&D. and GMT) the dissemination of the category strategy and assets. Lead key transversal CID projects – one or two per year with the CID team (CI & BI) and external partners. Be a key stakeholder in the development of the product brief (in collaboration with the Product Managers). Ensure to maintain regular contact with stakeholders during the product development phase and product launch preparation. This includes also the following: Act as lead project manager and be accountable to deliver multiple & impactful category assets: Support end-to-end delivery of category assets. Transform complex category concepts into creative and reader-digest assets. Ensure content review and quality check. Ensure communication of deliverable timelines to CID team and key stakeholders. Create precise agency briefs and coordinate with external agencies when applicable. Disseminate category assets to leadership team, wider global and regional teams, and other stakeholders. Present category assets in-person or via other media, including on stage at tradeshows. Collect feedback on category assets relevance and implement improvements. Identify knowledge gap on Category and amongst stakeholders. Find and execute new ways of communicating insights with stakeholders, for example: Concept visualization Infographics Case studies Presentation deck (PowerPoint) Podcasts Videos Support category claim substantiation and register trademarks: Seek Legal approval and coordination. Seek approval and coordination with the EL Global Medical and Professional Affairs Team (particularly on sensitive topics such as “blue light protection”). Maintain category claims database and online shared CID resources. Monitor competitors’ claims. Assist the Leadership Team and CID Team by answering ad-hoc requests and analysis on category topics. Organise and actively lead workshops on specific category, brand and product topics or projects with relevant teams and stakeholders. Help monitor CID budget by managing the POs and invoicing related to category assets creation & dissemination. Help set up suppliers (e.g. reviewing and drafting Legal documents, etc.) related to category assets creation & dissemination. Main requirements: Master’s degree in marketing or business. 3 years of experience (minimum) in marketing. Strong set of presentation skills and proven first-hand experience with marketing assets. Proven ability to create marketing assets. Proven project management leadership experience. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to a variety of audiences, confident public speaker. Ability to integrate and synthesize learnings and concepts into high quality assets for a wide range of audiences. Strong visual communication and data visualization skills. Collaborative - Ability to work cross-functions/Regions. Business acumen – Result-oriented. Creative - Show real initiative and bring new ideas. Precision and obsession with details. Job Purpose To work as part of the Transitions Optical team as the Maintenance Administrator your role is responsible for the efficient management and coordination of spare parts, purchasing, and administrative functions within the Maintenance Department. This role ensures the smooth operation and accuracy of spare parts management, the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), supports maintenance and facilities technicians, and oversees the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The Maintenance Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of equipment repair, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Maintaining and Updating CMMS PM Work Order List Work with Purchasing and Procurement to manage Maintenance Spare Parts Inventory and Consumables including unplanned issues, cycle counting, reordering, purchasing, year end counts. Organizing and coordinating PM activities with maintenance, contractors and production departments Following up with contractor PM reports Prepare weekly and monthly reports on budget, PM and downtime performance. Support to Maintenance and Facilities Technicians including minor repairs and troubleshooting. Execution of work orders generated by the computerised maintenance management system as required. Support key facilities, safety and energy projects at both local and global levels Ensure that all equipment is repaired to the highest standards. Responsible for filling out plant downtime report for all instances of plant downtime. Report to include time down, corrective action and preventative action going forward. Compliance to all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training and regulations. Follow up on safety issues, fire and security alarms. Provide assistance to production maintenance technicians when required. Perform additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.
