    Overview The Finishing Site Manager will take responsibility for managing the final stages of a large education project in South Dublin, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and programme delivery through to practical completion. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, overseeing internal and external finishes and ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications and BCAR requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all finishing trades including carpentry, drylining, ceilings, flooring, painting, tiling, joinery and final M&E installations. Drive the project through the final stages of construction, ensuring all internal and external finishes are completed to a high standard. Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and design team to maintain programme milestones and project timelines. Conduct regular quality inspections and snagging, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly. Manage and coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades to ensure efficient workflow and productivity on site. Ensure all finishing works comply with project drawings, specifications and BCAR documentation requirements. Maintain high standards of health and safety across all finishing activities. Coordinate the handover process, including management of snag lists and ensuring timely completion of outstanding works. Liaise with client representatives, consultants and design teams regarding finishing details and quality standards. Ensure proper site logistics and sequencing of trades to maintain efficiency and avoid delays. Assist in preparing areas for inspections, testing, and commissioning where required. Support the completion of as-built documentation and handover information. Requirements Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or Site Manager on large-scale construction projects. Strong background delivering education, residential or commercial projects through the finishing stages. Excellent knowledge of construction detailing and high-quality finishes.
