The Role & Core Responsibilities Oracle is seeking an experienced lawyer to join the Financial Services Legal team as Senior Corporate Counsel. This is a new role created in response to developments in the regulatory landscape that affect Oracle as a service provider to key regulated sectors, such as the European Union’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other regimes around the world. In this role, you will provide critical support to Oracle in its compliance journey by helping to design and implement frameworks, policies and processes that enable the company to meet its obligations under applicable regulations while managing its risk. You will partner with internal stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor who can drive the changes needed to enable Oracle to achieve its compliance goals. Importantly, you will also help manage Oracle’s engagement and relationships with regulators, including ensuring that communications are accurate, consistent, timely and aligned with internal policies and legal advice, and helping the company prepare for and respond to regulatory oversight activities. As a member of the Financial Services Legal team, you will join a collaborative group of professionals working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
