The Role As a Senior Product Manager at Ethyca, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional product experiences that solve customer problems and advance our mission. You will own the product vision and strategy for key areas of our platform, from conception through launch and iteration. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements, coupled with a strong ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, sales, and marketing to execute the product roadmap. You will be responsible for driving product growth, user adoption, and market success in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Responsibilities Define and Drive Product Strategy : Develop and champion a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned features/products, ensuring alignment with Ethyca’s overall mission and business goals. Execute with Excellence : Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, requirements gathering, feature prioritization, user story creation, and backlog management within an agile framework. Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with engineering to ensure technical feasibility, partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user experiences, and align with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure market fit and successful go-to-market strategies. Champion the User & Market : Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to deeply understand user needs, identify market opportunities, and translate them into actionable product requirements and innovative solutions. Embrace Data-Driven Decisions : Leverage product analytics, user feedback, and A/B testing to inform product decisions, optimize features, and drive continuous improvement. Communicate with Clarity : Clearly articulate product vision, requirements, priorities, and trade-offs to all stakeholders, fostering alignment and ensuring transparency. Requirements 5+ years of product management experience with enterprise-grade B2B SaaS products in data, privacy, security, or a related technical field. Proven track record of successfully launching and iterating on products, demonstrating measurable impact. Expertise in effectively identifying and documenting customer needs and transforming them into actionable product requirements, making strategic decisions based on impact, effort, and alignment. Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex technical concepts, engage in meaningful discussions with engineers, and contribute to solution design. Exceptional ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams and manage diverse stakeholder expectations. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and modern technology stacks. Strong analytical skills with experience defining success metrics, using product analytics, and leveraging data to drive decisions and product improvements. The Role As an Engineering Manager at Ethyca, you will lead a talented team responsible for Data Subject Requests (DSRs), API integrations, and reporting. You will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of projects, ensuring high team performance, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your leadership will be key in multiplying autonomous high performers within the team and aligning their efforts with the company’s mission of enhancing trust and privacy in data-driven technologies. Core Responsibilities Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget, particularly focusing on DSRs, API integrations, and reporting. Oversee the technical design and architecture of solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and align with Ethyca’s technology standards. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development sessions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and project delivery, with a target of achieving a sprint delivery rate of at least 90%. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders related to DSRs, API integrations, and reporting, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively. Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards, and maintain a production defect rate of less than 2%. Successfully onboard and mentor new team members, ensuring they reach full productivity within 90 days. Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill open positions within 60 days on average, while maintaining a high retention rate of new hires. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that aligns with Ethyca’s values of trust, teamwork, optimism, iteration, and listening. What We Value A highly analytical approach and eagerness to solve technical problems with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools. Experience or curiosity about working with and using large scale data to solve important problems of trust and respect. What We Require 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Proficient in Python and related technologies, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party API integration.
