The opportunity Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead the on‑site legal function and act as a trusted advisor across the business. The role blends commercial leasing, brand partnerships, corporate governance, and regulatory oversight , with real influence over strategic decisions. Key responsibilities Lead and develop the local legal function, owning performance and priorities Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts , including brand, leasing, services, and marketing agreements Support commercialisation and leasing activity, working closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel Advise the business on EU, national, and local legal and regulatory changes Provide pragmatic legal guidance across retail, marketing, operations, finance, and construction matters Manage legal risk, including insolvency‑related issues and potential disputes Oversee brand compliance , audits, and post‑contractual obligations Support corporate governance matters (board materials, powers of attorney, corporate transactions) Advise on IP protection , data protection compliance, and insurance matters Control external legal spend and manage relationships with external advisors About you You’ll be a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes.
