We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Team to work on a range of projects across multiple sectors. Requirements Holder of a Trade Qualification in a Mechanical or Electrical field – Level 6 Advanced Craft Certification or equivalent. Have 5 + Years’ Experience in the management & supervision of mechanical & or Electrical installations (Building Services). A good understanding of Electrical & or Mechanical Systems (Building Services). Experience of client, project team & contractor interaction. An understanding of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, Irish Electrical Regulations, Irish & British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations. Ability to Prepare Building Control Regulations M&E inspection plan and M&E input into the Certificate of Compliance Design. Attend Weekly Site Meetings Monitor the installation of all parts of the mechanical and electrical works carried out in connection with the Project. Attend weekly Mechanical & Electrical Co-ordination meetings to plan setting out & co-ordination of the services installation. Review & sign off technical submittals of plant & materials associated with the Projects. Review & prepare site specific method statements for scheduled power outages, upgrades, integration of new Mechanical & Electrical systems into existing. Manage the alterations and embellishments of utilities supplies such as ESB, Gas & Telecoms. Ability to efficiently & promptly deal with issues on site as they arise. Provide advice to Client & Design Team throughout the Project on cost reduction through value engineering and where possible the re-use of materials & systems. At periodic intervals appropriate to the stage of construction visit the Works to inspect the progress and quality of the Works and to determine that they are being executed generally in accordance with the Contract Documents. Witness and sign off on all the emergency systems installed in connection with the Project. Schedule & Witness commissioning of all Air & Water Systems. Witness the commissioning of the mechanical and electrical works carried out in connection with the project. Gather information for and issue the relevant ancillary certificates for submission to Building Control. On Practical Completion carry out a detailed snag of each Site. Manage the handover of the As Built Drawings and Documentation. Carry out a review of the Safety File.
