The Role This brand‑new, exiting role will play a central part in transforming how our global supply chain operates. The successful applicant will lead the design, delivery, and deployment of innovative supply chain solutions that enhance performance across all functions worldwide. As the driving force behind our group‑wide digitisation and S&OP agenda, you will shape an agile, fully embedded S&OP/S&OE process and spearhead digital projects that integrate forecasting, AI‑enabled planning, production capacity, valorisation, inventory, and customer service. A key focus will be challenging and advancing the use of SAP and digital tools to streamline processes, strengthen decision‑making, and deliver meaningful operational improvements across the Lakeland Group. The Role Our team in Killygarry are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a 1-year fixed term. In this multi-faceted role, the successful applicant will play a vital role in our busy financial operation, from managing end-to-end invoice lifecycles, ensuring strict VAT compliance and multi currency payment accuracy. Key Responsibilities (not limited to): Managing purchase invoices received using online document management system including: Ensuring VAT compliance by posting VAT using correct VAT rate codes and posting to correct nominal ledger codes. Perform weekly creditor payment runs in both Euro & Sterling currencies (performed in rotation with other members of the Accounts Payable team). Working with Group Treasury to ensure weekly creditor payment runs and urgent payment requests are made in a timely manner Ensure the accuracy of outstanding balances by performing regular creditor reconciliations as part of the Accounts Payable team. Ensure outstanding invoices are kept up to date and that invoices on query are resolved as soon as possible Ensure the integrity of creditor details maintained on the Society’s systems, guarding against potential risk fraud / fishing attempts regarding customer bank details. Ensure the confidentiality of information obtained or contained on supplier invoices. Assist with any additional requests from colleagues. This role will drive the delivery of high-quality ESG data and disclosures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and evolving stakeholder expectations. Acting as a key link between Sustainability, Finance, IT and wider business functions, the role will embed robust data governance, streamline reporting workflows, and support the organisation in delivering its sustainability strategy through data-driven insights. The Role We are seeking an experienced and analytical professional to join Lakeland Dairies in a key planning role, responsible for forecasting milk and dairy product volumes and coordinating production across our sites. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that milk, cream, butter, powder and casein volumes are accurately forecast, efficiently allocated and aligned with production capacity, customer demand and commercial sales plans. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Commercial, Logistics and Finance teams to support daily and weekly operational decisions, manage peak-season capacity, and ensure accurate financial forecasting and invoicing. Key Responsibilities Forecasting of milk and cream volumes to be allocated to the Lakeland Dairies production sites Forecast butter, powder & casein production available for sale and provide regular updates to the commercial team Maintain milk forecasting models for changes in milk growth or milk allocation assumptions and continually monitor production capacities to process the updated volumes Maintain rolling skim and butterfat processing capacity analysis during the peak processing months Evaluate the weekly production plan in terms of milk processing capacity and re-allocate milk to production sites if required. Advise on weekly butter and powder production plans by reviewing customer orders versus stock availability using SAP reporting tools. Significant experience in a senior engineering leadership role, within a manufacturing or food processing environment is highly desirable. Proven experience managing engineering and maintenance functions, including preventative, predictive and reliability-based maintenance programmes in highly automated environments. Demonstrated experience delivering capital engineering and utilities projects, safely, on time and within budget. Experience using CMMS systems to manage assets, maintenance plans and performance (experience with Avantis and/or Ultimo highly desirable). Strong budget ownership experience, including cost control, CapEx planning and delivery of cost-reduction initiatives.
