We're looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our EMEA Commercial team, covering the Entrepreneur and SMB segment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their pre-sales career who is curious, eager to learn, and excited by the intersection of technology and sales. You don't need to have all the answers on day one. What matters is that you ask great questions, pick things up quickly, and genuinely want to help customers succeed. You’ll work alongside Account Executives across the Italian‑speaking market and wider EMEA region, supporting the technical side of deals and building your skills in a collaborative, high‑energy team environment. That means building champions, demonstrating clear value, and making sure prospects choose Klaviyo. We work directly with customers to design solutions that integrate into their existing tech stacks, taking a consultative approach that builds confidence and gets buy‑in from both technical and business stakeholders. Our team builds beyond the day‑to‑day too. Recent projects include AI‑powered demo data generators, a Chrome extension for troubleshooting API calls, and templatised mobile apps to showcase our SDK capabilities. We’re a team that builds things to solve problems, and we’d love you to grow into that. How You’ll Make a Difference Support the Technical Win Work alongside Account Executives to support the technical side of Commercial opportunities from qualification through to close. Participate in technical discovery conversations, learning how to uncover a prospect’s goals, current tools, and key constraints. Deliver product demos and presentations to business and technical audiences, connecting Klaviyo’s capabilities to what the customer actually cares about. Help scope proofs of concept and pilot projects, supporting delivery and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. Learn how to handle common objections and navigate competitive questions with guidance from the broader team. Build Customer Confidence Develop a strong understanding of Klaviyo’s platform, APIs, and integrations so you can answer technical questions clearly and confidently. Build relationships with prospects and support them on topics like data strategy, integrations, and implementation approach. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support on RFPs, security reviews, and technical evaluations where needed. Start building knowledge of the competitive landscape so you can add value in deal conversations over time. Contribute to the Team Help build and improve repeatable assets like demo narratives, templates, and playbooks that make the wider team more effective. Use AI tools to support your work, from research and demo prep to light automation. Share what you’re hearing from customers back to Product and GTM teams, especially around gaps and trends in the SMB segment. Who You Are Required Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken. 1+ years of experience in a pre‑sales, solutions engineering, technical sales, or customer‑facing technical role at a B2B SaaS company. Curiosity about technology and a genuine interest in how businesses use data and marketing tools to grow. Comfortable talking to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and adapting your communication style accordingly. Good at explaining things clearly, whether that’s a technical concept to a marketer or a business problem to a developer. Willing to run live product demos and get comfortable thinking on your feet when questions come up. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn quickly in a fast‑moving environment. Nice to Have Some familiarity with web technologies, REST APIs, or data integrations, even if you haven’t worked with them professionally. Exposure to marketing technology, eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento), or customer engagement tools. Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor) and an interest in using them to work smarter. Any experience in a commercial or SMB‑focused environment, whether in sales, support, or a technical capacity. What Sets You Apart You ask great questions and genuinely listen to the answers. You’re not afraid to say you don’t know something, but you always follow up with the answer. You pick up new tools and concepts quickly and enjoy figuring things out. You take ownership of your work and follow through without needing to be chased. You’re excited about the idea of building a career in pre‑sales and see this role as a serious starting point. How We’ll Measure Success Contribution to technical win rate in the Commercial segment. Quality of demos, discovery conversations, and handoffs to Customer Success and implementation teams. Speed and consistency in picking up product knowledge and ramping into deals. Contributions to team assets and the feedback you bring back from customer conversations. #LI-Hybrid Base Pay Range in Local Currency: This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work if applicable, team meetings, and industry events.
