  • Health and Safety Officer  

    - Monaghan

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer to join the Operations team at our site in Castleblayney, County Monaghan on a full time permanent basis. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer: As the Health and Safety Officer you will be involved in developing, monitoring and implementing the Health and Safety Management System throughout the business and ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety Regulations. Kingspan Insulation operate an Integrated Management System(IMS) to the following ISO standards, 37301, 50,000, 45001, 14001 & 9001. You will ensure coordination of services in relation to all health and safety matters, making sure that risk assessments are operational, reviewed, and managed. You will review incidents related to health and safety and ensure the implementation and monitoring of recommendations. What we are looking for in our Health and Safety Officer: You will have: A professional qualification within the health & safety field Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to establish and work towards achieving targets Excellent organisational and strong workload prioritization skills Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit: A professional qualification within the environmental field (Introduction to Waste Legislation and Compliance) A professional qualification within the teacher/ training field A professional qualification within the internal auditing field Previous experience working in a similar role Experience of working with and understanding ISO and SHE legislation Why join Kingspan Insulation?   • Continuous Improvement Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Continuous Improvement Engineer based at our Castleblayney site. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be driving and supporting the departments continuous improvement projects across the site and on occasions the wider business. You will work with the operational departments to achieve business objectives from the identification of problems, through to proposing and implementing solutions within agreed parameters. Responsibilities of our Continuous Improvement Engineer Identify, scope, feedback and deliver on process improvement projects covering OEE, Waste, Compliance, Planet passionate, Engagement and any other identified KPIs Drive improvements and standardization through daily monitoring and process control Hold regular project review meetings, identifying and escalating progress blockers Identify, design & test new equipment, and to create and embed the relevant methods in the site MS Manage multiple tasks, work to agreed timescales, with a strong focus on quality and cost Facilitate root problem solving and root cause analysis down to component level Provide event follow up ensure that new standards are embedded into the MS Prepare and present capex proposal and understand payback logic Work with minimal supervision whilst still maintaining focus and drive for continual improvement. Provide energy and motivation to teams to deliver project milestones. Support the site in the delivery of Operational Excellence What we are looking for in our Continuous Improvement Engineer: You will have: Degree level in Mechanical or electrical Engineering (or related) High attention to detail Project Management experience Technical ability and knowledge of plant and process High bias for action Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision Personable and approachable Team player IT literacy with particular experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Professional demeanour A full drivers licence valid in Ireland Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit: IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) Six Sigma Green Belt HAZOP Analysis What do we offer?
