  • Maintenance Technician

    Job Overview As the Maintenance Technician, you will support the Maintenance Manager to maintain a state‑of‑the‑art automated plant. You will be required to complete corrective and preventative maintenance on core and non‑core plant equipment to the highest standard, so a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude is paramount. You will also utilize engineering systems to ensure site and regulatory compliance, appraise site equipment to improve efficiency, and assist production in lean manufacturing—a key aspect in maintaining and improving site growth and production output. The role will involve shift work on a rotating basis (7:00–15:30 and 15:00–23:30). A shift premium of 20% on top of basic salary will apply, and you will also be required to be on call out. Role Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all HSE and Food Safety & Quality legal and regulatory requirements and associated policies, standards, procedures and forms within the operations environment. Lead preventative maintenance of site equipment to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Respond to corrective and emergency breakdowns to improve uptime while maintaining GMP standards. Assist in developing the TPM and PM processes to cover all core and non‑core equipment for the manufacturing facility. Support production with TPM schedules and procedures to maintain equipment to the highest standard. Complete site safety checks to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of site safety. Monitor and evaluate all equipment systems for the manufacturing group and make necessary changes for continuous production improvements, including modifying and upgrading equipment. Support the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner in maintaining and monitoring on‑site systems, including PPM and BMS software. Collaborate with cross‑functional departments and external contractors on project work with tight deadlines.
