The Opportunity As an Assistant Manager, you will play an important part in enabling Kelly+Partners next phase of growth. Position Responsibilities Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory standards. Prepare and review financial statements under FRS 102 (and IFRS/UK GAAP if applicable). Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients. Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events. Support managers and partners in the delivery of complex assignments. Support process improvement initiatives and assist with proposals and business development activities as needed. Act as a key contact for client onboarding, day-to-day queries, and relationship. management, contributing to service improvements and client retention. Oversee preparation of management accounts, audit files, CRO returns, income tax and corporation tax returns. Review work of junior staff and provide timely, constructive feedback. About You 2-3+ years' experience in an Accounting Practice. Holds a CPA/ACCA/ACA accountant qualification. Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or similar. Expertise in accounting and audit software, including Xero, Sage Accounting, Quickbooks and CCH. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commercial awareness and the ability to manage client expectations. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102, Companies Act, and tax compliance.

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated graduate to join our firm under a structured 3-year ACCA training contract. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience across various service lines, including audit, accounting, and tax, while completing the ACCA professional qualification. Position Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 and relevant legislation. Support audit teams with fieldwork testing, documentation, and audit file completion. Assist with preparation of management accounts and bookkeeping services. Support the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns. Assist in compiling VAT returns and liaising with Revenue. Liaise with clients to request documentation and clarify queries. Maintain client files and records in accordance with firm policies. Work closely with other trainees, seniors, and managers on client assignments. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Complete ACCA exams and professional experience requirements in line with the training contract. Attend internal training sessions and keep up to date with changes in accounting, tax, and audit standards. About You Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (minimum 2:1 or equivalent). Eligible to pursue the ACCA qualification.
