As a rapidly growing organization they want to find and retain the highest caliber of people which is fundamental for the success of their business, Overview The Head of Sales and Business Development will be directly responsible for sales in their business in Ireland. This role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to grow sales of Structured Cabling, Networking Solutions in office fit-outs and DC markets, with responsibility for Components/E-Commerce division too. The role is responsible for both maintaining and driving the growth of sales in Ireland by developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue, margin improvement, and growth targets. This lead person will also have a personal sales target to hit, while also managing the combined sales number for Ireland. As a strong successful Sales leader, you will be ensuring the success of the business by displaying your strong people management skills, empowering the team to achieve targets whilst achieving your sales target. Developing and managing our team is the key to the success of their business. The role is part of a global sales team so will also work very closely with the other countrys sales leaders, the Sales Directors for Strategic Accounts and Components and the Director of Design and Pre-Sales, to ensure the sales focus and strategies are fully aligned. The role will also work closely with the Global Head of Sales & Operations to ensure smooth transition from sales to operational delivery for our global clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the Irish market, in particular the end user clients and Consulting Engineers Understand the unique needs and challenges of each account and develop customized sales strategies. Secure new business for Ireland Develop and execute comprehensive, specific account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Establish clear account plans, objectives, and KPIs for each strategic account. Drive revenue and growth upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities. Continuously and structurally improve margins. Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales and margin targets through continual empowerment, leading by example and providing your previous people development skills. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on Network Connectivity sales in Ireland. Set clear sales targets, objectives, and performance expectations for the team. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to help team members achieve their goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. operations, marketing) to align strategies and resources. Lead negotiations of contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of strategic accounts. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they meet their individual and team targets. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the Network Connectivity business in Ireland. Work closely with the Director of Pre-Sales to ensure accurate responses are produced. Work collaboratively with your operational colleagues to align sales, pre-sales and delivery. Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of revenue performance. Communicate client feedback and insights to relevant teams for continuous improvement. Establish key metrics to measure the progress and impact of Network Connectivity accounts in Ireland. Qualifications and Requirements: Excellent understanding and experience of the industry and specifically the Irish Structured Cabling & Active Networking market. Proven experience in driving growth, sales leadership and a positive track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in driving key relationships within the Structured Cabling industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions. Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and public presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Prior experience in growing and developing an E-Commerce platform. Due to their success they are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join their growing team . This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, driving revenue growth through upsell/cross-sell opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acting as the primary point of contact between clients and our technical delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT services and solutions, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, VoIP, infrastructure management, and help desk services. You will play a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships and delivering value through strategic account planning and consultative selling. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of key clients. A key aspect to this role is to develop a deep understanding of their clients business needs and align MSP offerings (e.g., managed security and services, cloud services, disaster recovery, general IT support, infrastructure) to meet their objectives. Drive account growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling of services and solutions. Working with and unearthing sales leads. Bringing them through the sales cycle resulting in net new contract clients. Prepare and deliver QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and strategic IT roadmaps to key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering services, helpdesk services, finance) to ensure successful service delivery and issue resolution. Manage the renewal and expansion process for contracts and service agreements. Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively address issues, and ensure high levels of retention and loyalty. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions and insights to clients. Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and KPIs, including revenue growth and client retention metrics. Utilise various internal systems to manage pipelines, forecast sales, and track activities. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in IT account management, preferably within a Managed Services Provider or IT consulting environment. Proven track record of building and growing strategic B2B client relationships. Strong knowledge of IT services, including but not limited to: Managed IT & Helpdesk Support Services Cybersecurity (firewalls, endpoint protection, SOC) Cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365) Networking and infrastructure Backup and disaster recovery Teams Voice Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, technical stakeholders, and procurement teams. Experience working with SLA-driven environments.
