Field Service Engineer - Based in Ireland

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and generator sets.
Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and genset issues in the field.
Conduct performance tests and inspections to ensure equipment meets operational standards.
Document all service and repair activities accurately.
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide efficient solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain an inventory of parts and tools required for field service.
Provide technical support and training to customers when necessary.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification preferred.
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or field service engineer, particularly with gensets.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
