  • Legal Consultant: Commercial Contracts  

    - Dublin

    Johnson Hana is seeking to hire Commercial Contracts Consultants for upcoming projects with multiple international companies. These projects will range from 6-12 months in length and there is a strong potential for the projects to be extended beyond this timeframe. These projects are on a contract basis ranging between 20-40 hours per week and there is some flexibility as to when these hours can be completed. Responsibilities Draft, review and, negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements such as Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, sale and purchase agreements and shareholders agreements and SaaS agreements. Support the Contract Management function in the end-to-end management of the various business units with respect of their key objectives. Coordinating with key stakeholders in bringing each contract to a successful conclusion. Team-orientated, with the ability to collaborate with others on the legal team and work cross-functionally across an organisation. Communicate with clients to clearly understand the project and aim to provide solutions to meet the project objectives. Skills & Experience Working experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. Experience working across Irish and EMEA jurisdictions. Legal In-house commercial experience is desirable.   • Legal Consultant: Data Protection

    Johnson Hana is seeking to hire Legal Consultants Data Protection for upcoming projects with multiple international companies. These projects will range from 6-12 months in length and there is a strong potential for the projects to be extended beyond this timeframe. These projects are on a contract basis ranging between 20-40 hours per week and there is some flexibility as to when these hours can be completed. Responsibilities Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders. Experience working on DPIA’s, LIA’s, TIA’s, ROPAs and similar documents. Deliver training across all business units to staff members who are involved in data handling or processing. Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues. Familiarity with responding to data subject access requests. Experience interviewing internal stakeholders regarding privacy and data compliance processes. Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years+ experience in Data Protection. Strong knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy law. Presentation skills, confident in front of a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership. Ability to interpret data and be able to report back to the business. Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. (Formal legal credentials are valued but not strictly required if you offer substantial related experience). Responsibilities Assist in the review, drafting and management of contracts and agreements. Maintain a contract database, track renewals, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Processing paper and electronic documents. Conduct legal research to support the legal team’s initiatives and decision-making processes. Summarize findings and relevant legal precedents. Assist in the development of compliance policies and procedures. Assist in gathering and organising documents and information for legal disputes. Organise and maintain legal records, including contracts, correspondence, and legal documents. Ensure data and document security and confidentiality. Communicate with clients to clearly understand the project and aim to provide solutions to meet the project objectives Maintain a high level of professionalism and competence when dealing with the client and working on the project Skills & Experience Preferably experience in a Paralegal/Legal Executive position.
