    Payroll Specialist - North Dublin Charlestown, Dublin 11 Due to on-going growth within the group, we are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join our Group. Joe Duffy Group is Irelands leading motor retailer representing 21 brands across 23 dealerships with a team of 650 employees and an enviable franchise portfolio of world-leading brands. Responsibilities: Sole responsibility for preparing and processing monthly payroll for ~600 employees across 17 entities, Ireland & UK. Maintain and update payroll records, reporting year end, audit and insurance preparation. Streamlining and standardising the payroll process in various sites. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations; Employment Law, Accounting, Revenue. Responding swiftly to Employment Law developments, new requirements for Revenue, Gender Pay Gap Reporting as they are introduced; updating company policy on same as required. Administer employee expenses and handle pension and benefit scheme submissions. Annual payplan review & preparation for all employees. Preparing reports for upper management in their preparation for next year, highlighting areas for potential change and patterns which may have arisen throughout the year. Responsibility for updating and discussing with software providers on company requirements. Knowledge of UK Payroll and Pensions in accordance with UK & HMRC Compliance. Assisting with Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Annual Audit & Assistant Accountant duties as required, such as preparing Trial Balances and NL coding of transactions. Job Description: To maximise the profitability of the Porsche dealership through the sale of Financial Services and Products, Finance and Insurance to customers who are purchasing a vehicle from the dealership. To complete the sales process in a manner that is consistent with the integrity of the Porsche dealership and provide unrivalled levels of customer service. Customers and leads will come through the Motor Sales team in each dealership. Please Note: Demonstrable Business Manager and Sales Experience in the Motor Trade and a Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence are essential requirements for this role. Detailed Responsibilities: To be responsible for sale of Financial Services products, finance and insurance products to all car purchasers and meet mutually agreed targets. Assist the dealership in effectively prospecting for new business. Administration (a) Accurately complete all relevant documentation to the required legal standards and those of the Financial Services provider (b) Complete and keep accurate records of car sales and F&I performance, including receipt of all payments due (c) Administer all customer settlement enquiries (d) Ensure relationships with other sources of finance are established to handle business which may not be acceptable to another provider Product Knowledge Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of financial services and competitor products and protect the dealership from financial and legal exposure. Budgets Assist in and provide information for the preparation of departmental budgets. Customer Service Ensure customer service standards are maintained and reflect Porsche manufacturer brand values. Technology Fully utilise all available Financial Services technology within the dealership’s sales process. The Sales Executive Apprentice will embark on a 12-month apprenticeship in-house training programe which will lead to qualifying as a Joe Duffy Group Sales Executive. What your training will include: All elements of the Joe Duffy Group sales process including appraisal, test drive and customer follow up. Mentoring and guidance from your Sales Manager. Learning to manage and develop customer follow-up and prospecting systems. The customer journey from enquiry to delivery and beyond. Building a rapport and lasting relationships with customers. Maintaining and accurately recording all customer contact details using our in-house systems. How to conduct accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange and agreeing on values with the Sales Manager. Regular training to maintain product knowledge and increase skills. How to achieve the standards required and become a Sales Executive. Requirements for the role: Experience of working in a retail capacity or a customer service/hospitality environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing customers with an exceptional level of service.
