    JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in  Shannon , looking to recruit a new  Avionics Crew Lead  to join their team. This client is a specialist in the provision of heavy C & D maintenance checks, bridging checks and major modifications. They provide services to airlines, leasing companies and VIP customers worldwide from strategic locations and are supported by extensive in-house shop capabilities as well as materials and logistics services. This vacancy is available due to growth within the organisation. This is a  Permanent Position  based in  Shannon, Ireland . Monday to Friday, working 08:00 – 16:45. Salary and Benefits 20 days Annual Leave with additional Maternity, Paternity and Parental Leave Compassionate Leave Employee Assistance Programme Employee Sick Pay Scheme 5% Employer Contribution to Pension Scheme 2x Life Assurance Employee Discounts/Travel Concessions The Role The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for crew performance and development including individual performance, competence assessment, training, motivation, performance and discipline Other Duties Involve Taking full responsibility and ownership of assigned work area/zone for the duration of the check Adhering to safety, deactivation and/or reactivation requirements whilst complying with the safety policy at all times Complying with the work interruption and handover procedures Allocating work and monitoring to ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner within the scheduled milestones and budget Familiarising and adhering to contract parameters with regard to cost and hours agreed Monitoring the paperwork of the check to ensure it is completed in a timely and accurate manner to the agreed schedule Accounting for all material requests and for tool usage, care and control Carrying out all necessary 5s audits In order to be successful in this role the Avionics Crew Lead will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes Avionics knowledge with hands on working experience within aviation Knowledge of the Aviation Regulations (EASA and FAA) desirable Proficient in use of MS Office applications Fluent in English (written and spoken) Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements Right to live and work in the EU/UK If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.
