Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Shannon, Ireland, for a Vice President of Technical. The role involves overseeing technical operations related to the management and leasing of a modern aircraft fleet. Key responsibilities include leading technical due diligence, managing asset acquisitions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth. The Vice President of Technical will also be responsible for optimizing technical processes to enhance fleet performance and value. Qualifications Degree in Engineering or Aerospace/Aircraft Technology (Bachelor’s or higher) and or Professional certifications such as EASA FAA, or equivalent licensure. Ideally 5- 6 years of technical experience within a leasing firm; Proficiency in reviewing & negotiating technical clauses in LOIs, lease agreements, and purchase/sale contracts Strong knowledge in pre-purchase inspections , delivery/redelivery , and technical due diligence. Experience in overseeing maintenance reserve claims , cost forecasting, and residual value assessments. Proven hands-on experience with aircraft transitions , fleet audits, and asset value retention.
