    Overview As a member of the Senior management team this role plays an integral part in our growth trajectory towards achieving our Vision.   • Field Service Technician South

    Purpose of Position The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the servicing and installing the JFC Evolution Feeding Systems on farms throughout Ireland. You will be self-motivated and responsible for organising & prioritising your workload with a willingness to travel nationwide. There will be a huge focus on quality and customer service as well as the other responsibilities, duties and benefits that come hand in hand with representing JFC and its products. Experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided. Key Duties And Responsibilities Installation & Service of the Evolution Automatic Calf Feeding equipment. Ensure machine installations are carried out to the highest standard. Provide excellent customer support through JFC’s on call service with the Service Team. Identify and troubleshoot issues on site in a timely and effective manner. Plan and schedule farm installations. Organise and manage the servicing of machines. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues both on site and over the phone. Cooperate with the Technical Team and share information across the organisation.     JFC Group is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician with mechanical experience to support the development of our automated calf feeder systems. The role requires expertise in electrical and electronic systems, combined with mechanical problem-solving skills to assist in the further development of the Evolution Automatic calf feeder and other Agri-tech products within JFC Group. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sensor-based automation, pumps, heaters, etc., in agricultural, automotive, or industrial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work and grow within an experienced Electronics, Software, and Mechanical team. Key Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose electronic control systems in automated calf feeders. Assemble and test prototype electronic and mechanical components, including sensors, control units, and pumps. Test and document software, electronics, and mechanical components. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Assist in product development and testing, providing feedback on performance and durability in farm environments. Ensure compliance with electrical safety and industry standards. Participate in field trials of new Agri-tech products. Set up and run tests on electromechanical components, documenting the results. Desired Skills and Experience Diploma, certification, or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
