This role will provide high quality support to the business to achieve its HR People Plan through proactive HR Business Partnering. The role will also support the execution of the people and organisational plans with a focus on the employee experience – Employee Relations, Policy Design & Implementation, Employee Engagement, Wellness, Mobility and Immigration, Early Talent, Performance Management. The HR Generalist will be providing support to managers in the provision of advice and expertise on a range of employee relations and organisational development related matters – a key aspect of this role. WHAT TO EXPECT In this role, no two tasks are the same. Here’s what to expect: Partner with business leaders and employees to provide support on HR related services across the full spectrum of HR activities set out above. Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of human resource policies and procedures, to ensure awareness and full compliance with relevant employment law and corporate policy. Wellness focus – Manage the partnership with external health provider on JLR’s yearly wellness initiatives, managing Ireland’s Wellbeing Website & Wellness SharePoint. Formally manage the probation process with people managers across the site. Ownership to drive the recognition process across the site with managers and employees. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including: Previous experience of a busy HR department. Good understanding of employment law. Good understanding of employee engagement, motivation and Leadership. Ability to multi‑task and work on own initiative.
