Vacancy Credit Control Officer Part-time (4 – day) Enniscorthy Credit Union is currently recruiting for the role of Credit Control Officer. This is a 4-day 12-month fixed term contract. The Credit Control Officer reports to the Head of Credit Control and is responsible for the progressive implementation and adherence of our credit union’s credit control policy and procedures, ensuring the provision of an efficient service to our valued members and minimising the number of accounts in arrears. This role will aid the monitoring of members' accounts to ensure the effective collection of outstanding debts. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day credit control activities and daily work on member account lists. Meet members, conduct and assess financial reviews with a view to developing tailored repayment plans. Monitor, maintain and record repayment agreements entered. Build good relationships and ensure members continue to feel valued. Identify changes in payment patterns and act accordingly to reduce the risk of bad debts. Be aware of and compliant with Credit Union internal policies, processes and legislative requirements. Resolve member queries in a timely manner. Liaise with third parties i.e. Solicitors, MABS, PIPs. Other office duties as required. Requirements: QFA qualification preferred (or working towards the qualification).
