We are looking for an experienced Combi lift / multidirectional forklift driver to join our Steel Yard & Warehouse team, supporting the safe handling and movement of structural steel products in a busy, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident operating heavy equipment, comfortable with long and oversized loads, and committed to working safely around people, vehicles, and plant. Core Responsibilities Operating a Combi lift / multidirectional forklift to load, unload, and move steel products including beams, plate, angles, and box sections Handling long and heavy loads safely and accurately Preparing and organising the yard for inbound deliveries and customer collections Picking, staging, and loading customer orders in line with dispatch paperwork Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance Working closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly Following all site safety procedures and looking out for your teammates at all times What were looking for Valid forklift / Combi lift licence (essential) 35+ years experience operating heavy material-handling equipment Experience working with steel, construction materials, or other long/awkward loads preferred Strong spatial awareness and hazard perception Comfortable working outdoors in an active yard environment Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-focused Good communication and a practical, can-do attitude Drivers licence (Learner's Permit acceptable) What you can expect Stable, full-time role in a well-established business Safe, organised working environment Supportive team culture Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities
