  • Job Description IPS is a pioneer in the application of single-source, integrated EPCMV for technically complex facilities. We have developed, implemented, and refined a lean integrated project delivery model that addresses the entire project life cycle. We are looking for a talented Project Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Cork, Ireland . In this role, you will develop, monitor, and update project plans and schedules encompassing the entire engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCMV) life cycle. You will facilitate or participate in project scheduling meetings as well as pull, phase, takt, and interactive planning sessions as required to develop, refine, and progress project plans. What You Will Do Analyze schedule input from project partners including clients, internal teams, vendors, and contractors to verify schedule durations and integrity, as well as evaluate logic and float paths. Integrate data into an overall master schedule. Ensure the credibility of the information in the master schedule and make recommendations to manage float and resequence activities to achieve project milestone/target dates. Collaborate with estimating and cost control to resource and cost load schedules as required, as well as with the team to support constructability and value engineering. Evaluate schedule risk and perform analysis (Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.) as required. You will baseline schedules and document the basis for approval. Monitor schedule progress, deviations, and variances, and assess impacts on critical/near-critical path activities. You will assist in developing alternatives for corrective action. Perform job site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities and analyze change orders for schedule impacts. You will continually review schedules with the project team to ensure accurate and timely data incorporation and forecasting. You will prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis, and maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance. At project completion, develop and record the project’s historical schedule information and lessons learned for future use. Qualifications & Requirements BS degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or applicable experience. 10+ years of experience as a planner/scheduler on facilities capital projects. Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCMV) processes. Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry. Understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, and technical documentation. Ability to generate earned value, SPI, CPI, and other schedule performance metrics. Proficiency in modern planning and scheduling tools and methodologies including CPM, Last Planner, 4D, etc. Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Office Suite. Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage large amounts of information to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of vPlanner, BIM 360, and other visual and collaborative planning tools. PMI or AACEI certification.   • Job Description At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Director with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a job site near Dublin Ireland . You’ll oversee multiple EPCMV Project Teams’ day-to-day execution within the Central region. Your focus will be on the support of EPCMV and CM services sales, overseeing the detailed execution of projects by teams from initiation to close out, development of staff, and operational performance. In this role, you’ll lead construction project teams to help them deliver projects successfully – safely, on time, and on budget. Projects will range from tenant improvements to major manufacturing facilities. You’ll guide project delivery teams, establishing goals and execution plans, and monitoring for performance. You’ll also oversee their development of contracts, subcontracts, estimates, and budgets. Regular review of project performance will occur, and you’ll work with PMs to resolve any project cost, schedule, or quality issues. You will also provide day-to-day direction of all project-specific Project Delivery group operations, including preconstruction, estimating, procurement, project management, construction site management, and construction site safety. Additionally, you will direct the change management process, providing work-in-place analysis with the project services group. As the Construction Project Director, your team will look to you for hiring, training, and development of project delivery staff. Site visits will occur as needed, to monitor construction progress. You’ll develop new business, work with senior leadership on proposals and presentations, and help to grow our presence in the Central region. You’ll act as a secondary point of contact for PMs for clients. Collaboration is key, as you work with preconstruction, project controls, procurement, quality, and safety by allocating resources. Safety This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. You may be assigned to client site for an extended period of time. We are looking for a dedicated Lead Architect to join our talented team at our office located in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will provide leadership of technical discipline and direct the day-to-day operational activities of any assigned Architecture Group staff. The Lead Architect works independently on various projects as assigned by the business. This individual may oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on a specialised design. The Lead Architect may work on several concurrent projects. When leading as part of a project team, the Lead Architect will supervise their team members in their particular area of specialisation. KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the development of proposals to communicate the approach to the project and highlight expertise in the planning and design of facilities for the life science industry. Collaborates with marketing to develop and maintain qualifications, project portfolios, and other marketing materials specific to their area of expertise. Demonstrates the ability and interest to develop conceptual ideas to present to clients during proposal presentations through client interactions and/or interviewing end users. Performs quality reviews for designs to assure building and GMP compliance within their particular specialty, ensuring company, regulatory agency, and production standards are met. Develop conceptual and Preliminary "BOD" write-ups based on client meetings and maintains continued support into the Construction phase. Recognises design support abilities of team members and empowers them to elevate their design capabilities through challenging assignments. Facilitates relationship development with potential and existing clients. Facilitates project kick-offs and workshops, focusing on establishing project drivers and design basis. Collaborates with IPS disciplines. Assesses project requirements, breaks projects into tasks, and works with Project Managers to determine scope of work, budget, and staffing. Researches specialty equipment as needed through vendor collaboration. Assists in managing clients and teams, focusing on design progression within agreed-upon schedules and budgets. Writes scopes of work for architectural design based on preliminary reviews and client meetings. Possesses knowledge of applicable building codes. Assigns and reviews work of project design teams, checking progress and alerting Project Managers to changes in scope or additional services. Coordinates all aspects of preliminary design document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals. Provides support for specialty-related project specifications to ensure they are delivered with company quality standards. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of traditional building design with a good understanding of how their specialty expertise integrates with GMP cleanroom design. Prepares or reviews construction budgets based on experience and project scope. Promotes and participates in the development of company design and production standards. Assists in mentoring, educating, and developing design staff and acts as a resource for design and industry questions. Performs special projects as assigned.
