  • We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and hands‑on Head of Operations & Communications to lead a small, high‑performing team of six. This senior role combines operational leadership with responsibility for the organisation’s key publications, events, and policy communications. You will work closely with the CEO to ensure seamless operations, deliver high‑quality outputs, and drive efficiency across all areas of the organisation. The ideal candidate would have: Leadership & Operations Lead and manage the team, overseeing workload, delegation and performance. Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Act as central coordinator for organisational priorities, supporting staff and senior leadership. Publications & Reports Oversee the quarterly magazine, coordinating content with the CEO, contributors, editors, and final sign‑off. Manage Reports, including surveys, data analysis, report drafting, zoom events, and promotion. Prepare and proofread submissions. Events & Conferences Lead planning and delivery of key events including the Annual and Valuation Conferences. Oversee all events across the organisation, ensuring timelines, quality, and promotional activities are met. Policy & Public Affairs Draft lobbying letters for the CEO and coordinate quarterly lobbying submissions. Organise informal Oireachtas Committee meetings, liaising with PR and coordinating presenters. Executive & Governance Support Prepare and finalise CEO presentations, including proofreading and creating slides. Support Board and Sub‑Committee meetings with agendas, minutes, and supplementary materials. Key Skills & Experience Proven leadership and team management experience, ideally in a small, high‑performing team. Strong organisational and project management skills with a hands‑on approach. Excellent written communication, proofreading, and attention to detail. Experience planning and delivering events, conferences, and publications. Ability to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders. Familiarity with public affairs, policy submissions, or lobbying desirable.
