The Opportunity We’re at the forefront of building AI agents for risk teams here at Inscribe. It’s critical we build trust and ensure compliance and security across every part of our business. We're now seeking an experienced and proactive GRC Compliance Lead who will ensure we stay secure, compliant, and operationally strong. This is a broad and high autonomous role with the opportunity to both design and implement controls that are central to Inscribe's business operations, from IT asset management and access controls, to risk assessment and mitigation. This role covers all aspects of our compliance program, from regulatory frameworks to customer assurance initiatives. It’s a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and excels at translating policy into scalable, real-world systems. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance programs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits Partner with legal, security, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing compliance readiness Design and manage risk assessments, third-party vendor evaluations, and remediation plans Create and maintain documentation such as policies, training materials, and reports Monitor regulatory changes and ensure policies are updated accordingly Management of endpoint security and device lifecycle management (e.g., through MDM tools like Jamf). Own employee onboarding/offboarding and ongoing access requests from an IT access/security perspective About You 5+ years of experience in a compliance and risk role in a high-growth tech environment Deep knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and general IT governance Hands-on experience with IT administration in a remote saas environment Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate compliance in practical terms Strong project management skills and a bias for action Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP (or similar) or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity is a must Interview Process Initial Screen with our CEO to share your experience (45 min) Take Home Technical Exercise followed by a live discussion with 1-2 team members to assess your technical ability (1 hour) Check In Call with the Head of People to understand your motivations and expectations (30 minutes) Meet our CTO to discuss Inscribe’s vision and align on values (45 minutes) Benefits At Inscribe, we are building a company and culture where everyone can produce their best work. As our dedicated IT hire, you’ll play a key role in building, managing, and scaling the IT infrastructure that powers Inscribe, ensuring our team has secure, reliable access to the tools and systems they need to do their best work. This is a unique opportunity to shape IT operations from the ground up, implement new tooling, and lay the foundation for scalable and secure growth.
