General Manager Innovate Fingal The Post The post of General Manager, Innovate Fingal is a new chief executive position in a newly established Company and Charity formed through the integration of three existing enterprise centre organisations with almost two decades of experience supporting enterprise development in Fingal County. This is the senior post in the organisation, with primary responsibility for strategic development, innovation in service delivery, revenue and client growth, and overall management oversight. Day-to-day administrative and operational management will be delegated to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). About the Role Innovate Fingal is seeking a General Manager who is committed to community impact, innovation, and enterprise development. The successful candidate will lead the next stage of organisational evolution by expanding services beyond physical workspace and strengthening Innovate Fingals role as a hub of entrepreneurial activity across Fingal County. This role operates at the intersection of enterprise development, innovation and entrepreneurship, community impact, and SME and startup support. The General Manager will lead change, design new services and programmes, build an extended enterprise community, and cultivate strong partnerships across the enterprise and social enterprise ecosystems. About Innovate Fingal Innovate Fingal supports entrepreneurship, business growth, and economic opportunity through three Enterprise Centres in Fingal: BASE Enterprise Centre CLG Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 Drinan Innovation Enterprise Centre CLG Drinan, Swords BEAT Enterprise Centre CLG Balbriggan The organisation provides affordable workspace, business supports, and a collaborative environment for startups, SMEs, and social enterprises. Income is primarily derived from rental and service fees, with rents set below market rates to support business development. Tenants are supported to grow and progress to commercial premises. Innovate Fingal employs six full-time and four part-time staff. The COO manages daily operations across the centres and reports to the General Manager. Purpose of Role: To consolidate organisational operations and lead innovation-driven expansion of services and revenue. Key Responsibilities: Strategic leadership and organisational development New services, partnerships, and revenue streams Staff leadership and performance management Financial management, budgeting, and reporting Oversight of facilities, programmes, and enterprise centres Governance, compliance, and risk management Stakeholder and community engagement The General Manager reports to the Board of Innovate Fingal and liaises between Board meetings with a designated Board member.
