Role Overview
We’re seeking a motivated and versatile Marketing Executive to lead and manage our marketing strategy. This is a self-directed role, perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a busy environment, and is passionate about building and scaling our marketing capabilities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with leadership, engineers and technical staff to shape our brand and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with business objectives. Maintain an annual marketing strategy, providing the management team with regular updates on progress.
Content Creation: Liaise with our engineering and technical staff to create, manage and update engaging content across channels, including videos, vlogs, blog posts, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Social Media Management: Build and manage our social media presence, growing engagement and followers.
Campaigns & Promotions: Plan, execute, and analyse marketing campaigns to generate leads, sales and build brand awareness. Prepare and maintain all promotional materials and merchandise. Drive sales through the identification and cultivation of new customers while arranging introductory meetings between senior management and potential customers.
Website Management: Oversee website updates, SEO optimisation, and analytics to enhance user experience and drive traffic.
Email Marketing: Create and manage email campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new market opportunities.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and measure marketing performance, key performance indicators, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement.
Event planning: Plan and coordinate all promotional activities for the business, encompassing both internal and external initiatives. Organise and participate in trade shows and exhibitions, representing the company and actively engaging with potential customers.
Customer relationship management – Preparation of sales presentations for customer meetings. Upkeep and validation of sales pipeline. Management and accuracy of CRM and ongoing development of this as the core tool for ongoing sales and business expansion.
Lead management: supporting sales and business development with lead management and development activities.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Marketing, Business, and or related discipline.
Experience in medical device industry and medical device technology is a distinct advantage.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling. A demonstrable capability to build effective relationships (with internal and external customers).
Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Canva, HubSpot, or similar platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills.
Skilled in sketching, writing, photography, video, imaging software, and Photoshop. Website development experience is a plus. Strong eye for design and detail.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Passion for startups and the agility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
