Role Overview The Senior Occupational Therapist will work within a creative and recovery focused occupational therapy department alongside an OT Manager, Senior Occupational Therapists and Staff Grade Occupational Therapists. Key Responsibilities Carry a complex caseload and complete occupational therapy specific assessments & interventions focusing on the impact of young people’s moderate to severe mental health difficulties on their occupational performance. Conduct generic mental health work, such as initial intake assessments, as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Serve as a key member of the MDT while supervising a staff grade Occupational Therapist. Develop the Occupational Therapy Service within the designated team.
