Account Executive
My client, a leading and innovative insurance provider with a significant book of business and a strong and growing client base in Ireland is looking to hire an Account Executive for the North West region.
Location: Northwest – The role will be attached to a Northwest office (Sligo or Donegal) and it will involve a mix of office, remote and field based work
Hybrid role with flexitime options, office based work, remote work and client travel
Salary and Benefits: Up to €45000 per annum depending upon experience, plus an attractive on target earnings package and a comprehensive benefits package
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as available
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic insurance provider serving SME level commercial clients and provide them with tailored insurance solutions and top level customer service to ensure continued and renewed business. The role reports into an experienced Team Lead for Commercial Lines who will support the Account Executive.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for providing a range of client insurance solutions including inviting, securing and documenting renewal as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling in line with agreed protocols and procedures.
Build effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitments.
Deal with any issues that customers may have in a timely fashion.
Provide account support to the Account Director on clients as required.
Manage aged debt and premium collection.
Comply with all management audit requirements.
Ensure the highest standards of compliance working with the Account Director and compliance teams to ensure that quality of file records meets prescribed standards.
Additional Responsibilities
Work as part of a team environment, collaborate with colleagues and help ensure the team meets and exceeds monthly and yearly targets.
Required Skills and Experience
Hard skills and experience:
Minimum of a CIP qualification or working towards completion of a CIP qualification.
2 or more years’ experience in insurance solutions sales or in a very closely related financial services sales role.
You should be able to demonstrate good technical and product knowledge of insurance solutions.
Previous Open I experience or experience with a similar system would be highly advantageous.
