This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to strengthen their finance function. The role is a newly created position as the business continues to grow, offering a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established finance team with great exposure working closely with the the Financial Controller. About the job: Take full ownership of monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly Support the Financial Controller with monthly reconciliations between financial and management accounts, working closely with the Management Accounting team Assist in the preparation and collation of financial information for grants and external reporting Maintain and review fixed asset registers, including depreciation and capex movements Prepare monthly capex reporting and raise intercompany recharge invoices for completed projects Review and clear intercompany balances, ensuring all positions net to zero each period Post and review monthly journals, ensuring accuracy at source Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting notes, and act as a key contact during the external audit Partner with the Divisional Controller to identify and deliver process and control improvement initiatives Support the development and documentation of SOPs to strengthen the finance knowledge base Requirements: Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA Ideal role for a Newly Qualified/Recently Qualified Experience of using ERP Systems to their full potential and functionality Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential If you are a highly motivated and experienced finance professional with a passion for excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The Role As Finance Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting operations, spanning core accounting execution, budgeting, compliance, and reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include: Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including group reporting, accruals, and financial consolidation. Prepare budgets, monitor expenditure, and produce management reporting and profitability analysis by product, office, and market. Provide commercial insights and financial input to support business strategy, investment decisions, and operational planning.
