This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised and eager to learn. No previous procurement experience is required full training will be provided.   • HSEQ Coordinator

    Job Purpose The HSEQ Coordinator will support the business in maintaining and continuously improving Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) systems. The role is focused on coordination, compliance, documentation, and monitoring, ensuring the company meets legal obligations, certification requirements, and client standards across workshops and construction sites. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company Health & Safety system in line with legal requirements and ISO 45001. Support site and workshop teams with safety documentation including RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, and inductions. Maintain accident, incident, near-miss and hazard reporting systems and ensure records are kept up to date. Assist with site inspections, audits, and corrective action tracking. Coordinate health & safety training, certification records, and refresher training requirements. Monitor PPE issuance records and compliance. Support investigations following incidents and assist with corrective actions. Environmental Assist in maintaining the Environmental Management System in line with ISO 14001. Monitor environmental controls such as waste segregation, spill prevention, chemical storage, and energy use. Maintain environmental registers, permits, and waste documentation. Support environmental inspections and audits. Promote environmental awareness across the business. Quality & Accreditations Support the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant accreditations (e.g. EN1090). Maintain controlled documents, procedures, forms, and records. Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit packs and close-out of non-conformances. Maintain training, competency, and qualification matrices. Assist with supplier approval processes and compliance documentation. Support project documentation including QA/QC records, ITPs, and handover files where required. Compliance & Administration Maintain accurate and organised HSEQ records across all systems (digital and paper). Track actions, deadlines, and renewals related to certifications, training, inspections, and permits. Assist management with reporting on HSEQ performance and KPIs. Support continuous improvement initiatives across HSEQ systems. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements within construction or engineering environments. Confident communicator, able to engage with site teams, supervisors, and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital document control systems. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively. Qualifications & Experience Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality, or related discipline (desirable). Previous experience in an HSEQ, compliance, or administrative support role (construction/engineering experience an advantage). Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards Full driving licence may be required for site visits.
