Dublin Salary Range €15.15 Shift Pattern 8 Hour Shift (Morning) Job Purpose The Maintenance Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse and external site environment. The role supports daily operations by ensuring warehouse floors, yard areas, and communal operational spaces are maintained to a high standard using appropriate cleaning and maintenance equipment. This role includes general site upkeep duties including operation of floor cleaning machinery and basic outdoor maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities Cleaning & Site Maintenance Clean warehouse floors, walkways, loading areas, and operational communal spaces. Operate floor cleaning machines and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Empty bins and dispose of waste in the appropriate manner. Ensure warehouse and yard areas are kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards. Carry out basic outdoor maintenance including grass cutting and upkeep of external areas. Support general housekeeping standards across the site. Health, Safety & Compliance Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. Use cleaning chemicals, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly. Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hazards to management. Maintain safe working practices in warehouse and yard environments. General Support Assist with ad hoc cleaning and maintenance tasks as required. Support warehouse and facilities teams in maintaining site standards. Ensure cleaning equipment is stored correctly and maintained in good condition. Knowledge, skills and experience required Essential Previous cleaning or maintenance experience in a warehouse, industrial, or commercial environment. Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Desirable Experience operating floor cleaning machinery. Experience using lawnmowers or grounds maintenance equipment. Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals. Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail. Practical and hands-on approach to work. Dependable and self‑motivated. Flexible and willing to support operational needs.
