We are growing and looking for a Product Engineering Team Lead to join our Insights team to shape the future of our inventory platform by architecting scalable solutions, mentoring peers, and boosting customer efficiency and sustainability. Our tech stack includes Python, React, TypeScript, Node.js, FastAPI, AWS services (Fargate, Aurora, SQS), MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Docker.

What you’ll be doing Drive the development of intelligent features powering scheduling and operational planning, including AI-driven automation, adaptability, and decision-making at scale.
Own the technical direction and delivery of our revamped Insights suite, enabling operators to optimize pricing, reduce waste, and improve customer experience.
Champion forecasting excellence, improving the accuracy and UX of predictive tools to build operator confidence and transparency.
Lead the design and rollout of embedded AI capabilities across the platform, from contextual insights to agent-based analytics for data exploration and understanding.
Oversee the expansion of customer feedback tools, guiding new functionality that increases value for operators and creates monetisation opportunities for Nory.
Ensure robust integrations with key industry platforms for smooth adoption by restaurants.
Lead a high-performing squad, fostering collaboration, autonomy, and technical excellence while delivering against clear objectives.
What you’ll bring Full-Stack Technical Leadership: 8+ years of engineering experience with deep credibility in at least one domain (backend or frontend) and strong knowledge of the other. You set high engineering standards and guide your team in delivering scalable, well-architected systems.
Systems Thinking & Architecture Ownership: You drive the design and evolution of systems supporting long-term squad success, facilitate architectural decisions, promote reusability, and manage technical debt.
Customer & Product Stewardship: You connect work to customer value, shape product direction with PMs, challenge assumptions, and frame trade-offs by user outcomes, feasibility, and effort.
Delivery Ownership & Team Enablement: You are accountable for squad velocity and outcomes, remove blockers, coach team members, and foster an environment where engineers can perform at their best.
Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment: You keep stakeholders informed, drive alignment with PM, Design, and leadership, and communicate clearly across time zones.
Culture, Coaching & Growth: You shape team culture through feedback and clarity, support growth plans, and model Nory’s values.
