Job Description Established in 1988, Gunn Lennon Fabrication Ltd (GLF) supplies specialist design, fabrication and installation services to the construction industry. It designs, manufactures and installs high‑specification metal and glass facades in Ireland and the UK. GLF is now recruiting for a CNC Operator willing to work and develop their professional career in the field of facades. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machine to produce machine parts while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. Load raw materials and unload completed parts. Operate multiple machines simultaneously. Perform inspections of own parts and co‑workers' work. Follow instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures. Use measurement tools such as snap gauge, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments. Adjust tooling and work offsets. Make minor edits to current programme to assure dimensions, tolerances and quality of parts. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including top‑off lubricants. Clean equipment, remove chips and maintain work area. Follow established procedures and quality and safety standards. Maintain a safe work environment. Experience Experience using power tools/drill. Experience working within a fast‑paced factory environment. Carpentry and engineering experience will be an advantage. Key Skills Good verbal and communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative while contributing effectively to the team environment. Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work in a busy production environment. Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as and when required. Positive attitude, reliable, punctual and keen. Work Environment Machine shop environment which may require the use of industrial hearing protection and/or other protective equipment. Physical demands will require manual handling.
