The Rotational Site Manager coverage across multiple active sites, supporting mobilisation and critical delivery phases. The role is designed to maintain programme continuity, safety compliance and construction momentum across the portfolio. The Rotational Site Manager will provide flexible site-based support across multiple solar projects through different phases of the projects lifecycle and conducting pull-out tests, site assessments, and early-stage coordination to ensure readiness for construction mobilisation. Key Responsibilities Provide site leadership across multiple projects on a rotating basis, ensure continuity during absences, support mobilisation and commissioning phases, and maintain HSEQ and programme controls Maintain continuity of site operations, safety oversight, and reporting Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure progress is maintained Tender & Preconstruction Support Conduct pull-out tests and ground condition assessments to inform foundation design and tender pricing Support site walkovers, surveys, and early-stage logistics planning Assist with temporary works design coordination and access route validation Provide input into risk assessments, method statements, and construction sequencing Coordination & Reporting Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and HSE teams to ensure site readiness Document findings and provide feedback to preconstruction and tender teams Support stakeholder engagement, including landowners, local authorities, and utility providers Requirements Proven experience in site management (solar PV construction an advantage, but not essential), ideally across both utility-scale and C&I projects Strong understanding of groundworks, civils, and early-stage site setup Ability to work independently across multiple locations Excellent communication and coordination skills PSDP/PSCS awareness and HSE leadership experience Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and full driving licence Desirable Experience conducting pull-out tests and interpreting geotechnical data Familiarity with tender documentation and preconstruction planning Benefits Health Insurance Company Pension Death in Service Income Protection Professional Membership fees Training and CPD This job description is intended as a general guideline and is not exhaustive; it is a flexible document and may be subject to change to meet the evolving needs of the company. Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, the successful candidate will assist with site administration, reporting, documentation, site walks, and coordination activities that help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the project. This role is designed to provide structured development for a recent graduate, offering hands-on exposure to site operations, construction processes, health & safety practices, and project documentation. The position is ideal for someone looking to build strong organisational, communication, and technical skills within a fast-paced construction environment. The Graduate Site Construction Manager will support the Site Manager with maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, monitoring progress, assisting with inspections, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers as required. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop a strong foundation for a future career in construction management Site Support and Administration Assist the Site Manager with daily administrative tasks and general site coordination. Maintain site documentation including registers, permits, delivery records, attendance logs, and drawing files. Support the preparation of weekly and monthly site reports, progress updates, and dashboards. Help manage and update trackers for materials, labour, progress, snags, and compliance items. Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time Site Walks & Inspections Participate in regular site walks with the Site Manager to record progress, identify issues, and capture photographic evidence. Assist with quality documentation, snagging lists, checklists, and follow-up actions. Support health & safety compliance by helping prepare documentation, updating records, and assisting with inspections. Communication & Coordination Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to gather information and support daily coordination. Assist in organising meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes where required. Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting & Documentation Compile data for weekly and monthly reporting cycles. Ensure all documentation is filed, updated, and accessible in accordance with project requirements. Support the Site Manager in preparing information for audits, client updates, and internal reviews. General Support Assist with logistics coordination, delivery scheduling, and site organisation tasks. Provide ad hoc support to the Site Manager and project team as required. Uphold company standards and maintain a professional presence on site.
