  • Lead Solar QA/QC Engineer  

    - Dublin

    A well-established renewable energy developer in Ireland, with more than 650 projects successfully delivered and 140 MW of operational capacity already in place, alongside a pipeline of 280 MW under development. The organisation has set a target of reaching 1 GW of renewable generation by 2030, playing a key role in advancing Ireland’s clean energy transition. Its expertise spans solar PV, wind, biomass, and energy efficiency, providing end-to-end services from design and construction to operation and maintenance, supported by flexible financing models such as power purchase agreements. Role Overview As Lead Solar QA/QC Engineer, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, technical requirements, and regulatory frameworks. Beyond establishing and enforcing QA/QC protocols, you will play a central role in shaping the quality function—leading site inspections, supporting commissioning, and gradually building and managing a dedicated QA/QC team to strengthen long-term project delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans aligned with contractual obligations and ISO standards Lead on-site inspections of civil, mechanical, and electrical works including module mounting, trenching, cabling, inverter/transformer installation, and grid connection activities Ensure adherence to design drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs) Oversee inspections and testing on equipment and installations (e.g. PV modules, inverters, transformers, insulation resistance, string testing, torque settings) Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation: test reports, NCRs, punch lists, as-built drawings, and quality logs Identify, manage, and resolve non-conformities, coordinating with contractors and project teams to implement corrective measures Act as the primary quality interface with contractors, site managers, and client representatives Lead QA/QC involvement in commissioning and handover, ensuring complete documentation packages are delivered Establish the foundations of a QA/QC team, with responsibility for recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members over time Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and proposing enhancements to QA/QC systems and processes Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field Minimum 3–5 years’ QA/QC experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects; EPC background advantageous Demonstrated leadership capability or ambition to step into a lead role with team-building responsibility Strong knowledge of Irish and EU construction standards, regulations, and best practices for solar projects Familiar with IEC, EN, and ISO standards (especially ISO 9001) Proficient in MS Office and quality management systems (QMS); experience with SharePoint or similar is beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr

  • Electrical Supervisor Location: Ireland (open to expats – with authorization to work in Ireland) Rate: €400–€500 per day Contract: 1-year Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to contribute to the energy transition? We are supporting a leading renewable energy developer in the delivery of major utility-scale projects across Ireland. As Electrical Supervisor , you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, timely and high-quality execution of electrical works on site. You’ll oversee subcontractors, ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and support the successful commissioning of renewable energy assets.
