Our client is a leading supplier within the building services and HVAC sector. They are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen relationships across the West Coast of Ireland.
This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and working closely with consultants, contractors, and developers across the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow new business opportunities within the commercial construction sector
Build strong relationships with M&E consultants, contractors, developers, and key stakeholders
Deliver presentations and technical solution proposals to clients and industry professionals
Identify and secure product specifications on upcoming projects
Contribute to sales and market growth strategies
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Collaborate closely with internal technical and sales teams to deliver successful project outcomes
Manage and develop a strong sales pipeline across Ireland
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or specification sales
Background within construction, HVAC, building services, or related industries is highly desirable
Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and develop long-term partnerships
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally as required
