We are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team as a Localisation QA Engineer within the area of consumer electronics. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the most innovating software products in the world, in a dynamic company culture and be part of cutting-edge technologies. As a Localisation Engineer, you along with your team, will be responsible for the quality on a wide variety of software products for your native language. You will also have the opportunity to share your ideas, in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items. Report issues found by using internal tools, providing pertinent information and suggestions and following the solution process to its completion. Analyse international functionality issues. Work cross-functionally with international software QA centers, engineering teams, translators and project managers to ensure delivery of world-class products to international markets. Any other duties relevant to the role. Depending on experience, duties might also include: Designing, implementing and organising manual test plans. Creating, maintaining and carrying out automated test procedures. Coding software test automation in technologies like Swift, ObjC, Python and Ruby or other programming languages as required. Carrying out technical software reviews to assess automation opportunities. Qualifications Native speaker of the language required and a deep knowledge of linguistics. Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and a team player. Self-driven, with flexibility to work on multiple projects and with various types of deadlines. A person who enjoys breaking the software in order to make it better. We are seeking a Trainer who will manage the execution and delivery of training for a global team of Data Validation Analysts. The Trainer will support cross training across multiple geos. The team supports data verification in Maps. This role would help support data verification in Maps Listings and Places on Maps products.
