Why This Role Matters This role sits at the heart of Global's next phase of growth. With an award-winning brand, a strong product portfolio, and a large warm B2C customer database, the opportunity is significant and requires strong leadership to unlock it. The Head of Sales & Growth will turn market opportunity into scalable demand, strong sales performance, and long-term growth. Role Purpose This right candidate will lead the commercial growth of Global Home Improvements through a marketing-led approach, owning demand generation while retaining full accountability for sales team performance and revenue delivery within a purely B2C business. Key Responsibilities Own and execute a marketing-led growth strategy Build scalable B2C demand and lead-generation systems Full accountability for sales team performance and results Align marketing, sales, operations, and customer care Drive conversion, revenue growth, and market leadership Lead, coach, and performance-manage sales and marketing teams Sales Responsibilities Execute and continuously optimise the sales growth plan Own the full sales funnel from lead handover to conversion and revenue growth Drive improvement in conversion rates, sales productivity, and customer lifetime value Ensure sales activity is structured, measured, and accountable Work closely with sales teams to improve objection handling and close rates Customer & Market Focus Maintain a deep understanding of homeowner needs, behaviours, and buying drivers Champion a customer-first, empathy-led culture across teams Ensure alignment between customer expectations, sales promises, and delivery Gather market and customer insights to inform product, pricing, and messaging decisions Essential Skills & Competencies Strong sales leadership and commercial acumen with accountability for results Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that generate demand Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Strong listening skills and ability to ask the right questions Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Personal Attributes Solutions-focused problem solver with a bias toward action Highly collaborative and trusted leader Confident and effective decision-maker Resilient, adaptable, and execution-driven High emotional intelligence and customer empathy Commercially curious and results-oriented Qualifications & Experience Proven experience leading sales and marketing functions Track record of delivering revenue growth, improved conversion, and strong lead pipelines Experience scaling teams, systems, and processes Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels Relevant third-level qualification preferred Key Results & Measures of Success Sustained growth in qualified B2C leads Improved lead-to-sale conversion rates Increased sales revenue and margin Strong, consistent brand positioning High-performing, accountable sales and marketing teams Apply if you want to be part of something special , with real career opportunities available as we are going into the next phase of our growth.
