As part of our mobile development team, you will work in small, cross-functional teams of engineers, UX designers, and product owners located in Europe/US/India. You will focus on discovering new customer solution needs by testing the demand, usability, value, and feasibility of new ideas, as well as delivering a robust and scalable implementation of the best ideas that our customers can depend on. In your role, you will be able to learn how to build at scale with a critical mission while also able to innovate like a startup. Mission and Goal We are excited to be adding a Senior Program Manager Product Operations role to our Program Management Office (PMO) team based in Dublin . This critical role ensures the on-time delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers in pursuit of our company goals. A Senior Program Manager, Product Operations at Gen has an incredible attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement. They will be proactive, structured, and process-driven, planning and monitoring the progression of the product program or project from initiation through to delivery. They will understand the detail of what needs to get done, create a work breakdown structure, and prepare the schedule to track the progress of the project. They will step in to unblock the project when it is blocked, and they will bring all the key contributors together to ensure a satisfactory solution. When there are issues, they will help update our processes to stop the issue from ever happening again. This crucial role requires outstanding interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be managing the inter-dependent relationship between the core project team and Gen’s cross-functional teams spanning Product Engineering , Product Management , Product Marketing , Go-to-Market , Legal , and Support . The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to operate independently but also instinctively a team player, moving between different functions at the company, monitoring progress and finding solutions that help take our business forward. To this end, you will understand the importance of communication and possess outstanding communication skills of your own. The Senior Program Manager, Product Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our portfolio of initiatives focused on new product launches and growing the business. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of project management methodologies. Your discipline and application will ensure senior management is kept regularly appraised and informed on delivery progress. Create and manage team backlogs, clearly communicate status to stakeholders and senior management.
