Recruitment Consultant specializing in top talent acquisition. The Programme Lead will be a senior leader within the Technology function, responsible for overseeing a multi-year transformation programme. This includes modernising systems, migrating software and hardware, improving governance, coordinating with internal teams, and managing external delivery partners. The role will focus on stabilising core platforms, reducing technical debt, and enabling future digital change.
You will drive complex technical delivery, embed best-practice SDLC, ensure alignment with organisational goals, and deliver modernisation efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities Translate organisational objectives into measurable programme outcomes
Shape programme structure, delivery model, roadmap, and sequencing
Establish and manage governance frameworks: reporting, controls, and approval gates
Lead demand and resource planning across internal teams and external partners
Manage financials, including estimation, planning, and budget reporting
Oversee multi-stream delivery, including agile teams
Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating early where appropriate
Maintain alignment among senior executives and stakeholders
Coordinate complex integration activities across platforms and data sources
Drive vendor oversight, including contracts, SLAs, performance, and renewals
Support regulatory alignment and audit readiness
Contribute to organisational change and readiness planning
Required Experience & Qualifications Qualification in computer science, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in leading and managing multi-stream IT change and migration projects
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
Background in vendor and delivery-partner management
Experience across cloud adoption, networking, data, or security
Experience reporting to senior leadership or boards
Track record of building or improving technical project management processes
Experience delivering within resource-constrained environments
Experience in the non-profit, charity, or healthcare sector
Engagement in data governance and data-quality initiatives
Addressing technical debt, implementing remediation strategies, and migrating from legacy systems
Exposure to cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF)
Skills Strong analytical and prioritisation skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risk, scope, and costs
Excellent written communication, capable of producing concise and factual reports
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language
