    Garo Electric are hiring a Production Operative. Are you an upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoys working systematically and productively. Position Objective: As a production operative you will be working as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency. Daily targets of products are assembled in a professional manner with a strong emphasis on consistency and quality. Job Description: Organising and Storing Materials: Efficiently sort and place materials or items onto racks and shelves, ensuring that inventory is systematically organised for easy access and optimal storage. Product Selection: Accurately work from a product list to identify and pick relevant components needed for assembly, ensuring that the correct items are selected and prepared for production. Assembly and Packaging: Skilfully assemble, wire, and pack consumer units and switchgear products according to company specifications and quality standards, ensuring that finished products are ready for distribution. Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and location checks to maintain accurate inventory records, promptly reporting discrepancies to ensure stock levels are properly managed. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that production and storage areas are kept clean and tidy on a daily basis, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards to support a safe and organised work environment. Ongoing Training: Participate in provided training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on new procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and competency in all job-related tasks. Key Qualifications: Strong Organisational & Communication Skills : Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Dependability: Proven track record of excellent punctuality and consistent attendance, reflecting a strong commitment to reliability and job responsibilities. Proficient in Literacy & Numeracy: Competent in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic, with the ability to understand and interpret data, instructions, and documentation accurately. Basic Computer Proficiency : Comfortable using standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email, with a willingness to learn new systems as needed. Self-Motivated & Driven : Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to work, with a strong ability to stay focused and complete tasks independently.   • E-Mobility and Distribution Product Technician Job Title: E-Mobility and Distribution Product Technician We’re hiring an E-Mobility and Distribution Product Technician. Are you an enthusiastic and proactive professional with a passion for electrical and technical solutions? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join us in offering the most exceptional service and expertise in the field of EV Charging and power distribution solutions.. Position Objective: As an E-mobility and Distribution Product Technician, you will provide expert technical support to customers and installers for our range of EV charging and electrical distribution products. Additionally, you will support the sales office by managing incoming enquiries and providing customers with accurate pricing and quotations. Job Description: Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of EVSE safely and professionally. Offer sound engineering and electrical advice to customers. Support other Garo electrical distribution product lines in a similar manner. Develop opportunities with new and existing customers, building strong relationships with contractors, CPOs, and end users. Maintain communication with the e-mobility sales manager and internal sales manager, sharing feedback, customer sentiment, and market information. Assist internal sales staff in managing existing and new customers. Aid in order processing for internal sales staff. Identify opportunities to provide support and training to existing and potential customers. Provide timely quotes and follow up to secure new business, monitoring and updating all projects in the CRM system. Share incoming queries, problems, and solutions with the team. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth project progress and timely delivery of goods. Prepare AutoCAD drawings, quotations, and tender submissions with precision and attention to detail. Work with the production team manager to quality-check products before delivery to customers. Key Qualifications: Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated excellence in both telephone and written communications. Technical Expertise: Robust electrical and technical knowledge, with electrical or engineering qualification desirable. Experience : Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, or technical support of EV charging solutions would be an advantage. Full training provided. Proactive and Organised: Self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of taking initiative. Multitasking Abilities: Adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Problem-Solving and Time Management: Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage time wisely. Effective Communication: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Resilient and Goal-Oriented: Determined to excel in a competitive and challenging environment. Computer Proficiency: Skilled in using software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly desirable. AutoCAD experience an advantage; however, training is provided. Product Knowledge: Eager to gain a deep understanding of our product range and capable of persuading customers to choose our solutions over competitors.
