A full range of endoscopy services including bowel screening, therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy for the region, is provided, in the JAG accredited Unit at UHK. A regular endoscopy user’s group meeting takes place to discuss operational activity in the unit. There is close cooperation with Colorectal surgeons in UHK. These is also close cooperation with Gastroenterology colleagues in Cork University and Mercy Hospitals. UHK is affiliated with UCC has a long-standing relationship with our colleagues in UCC and there is an active research profile at the hospital.
