About the role: We're looking for a high-impact Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in how Fund Recs goes to market, demonstrates value, and wins complex opportunities. This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Strategy. You will support the technical engagement across the sales cycle, from discovery and solution design, through to demos, Proofs of Concept, and deal close. You will also play a key role in shaping how we present our solutions to the market. Building reusable assets, refining demo environments, and helping define what “good” looks like in a Fund Recs sales process. This role is ideal for someone who understands fund operations and technology, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment. What You’ll Do: Pre-Sales & Deal Support Support the technical workstream across sales opportunities Assist in discovery sessions to understand client workflows and requirements Help translate client needs into recommended solutions using Fund Recs modules Deliver standard and semi-tailored product demonstrations Support senior SEs in preparing for client meetings and demos Proof of Concept (POC) Support Assist in scoping POCs with clear objectives and timelines Support configuration of POCs using client or sample data Help analyse outputs and prepare results for presentation Contribute to ensuring focus on key use cases within defined scope Solution Support & Development Apply existing solution patterns to client scenarios Support the creation and refinement of reusable solution assets Work with senior team members to understand how solutions are structured and positioned Demo Environment & Asset Support Maintain demo environments to ensure they are ready for use Support the creation and organisation of demo datasets and scenarios Keep documentation of demos and assets up to date Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships to support opportunities Share client feedback with the Solutions Engineering team Collaborate with Client Solutions and Product to build understanding of real-world use cases RFPs, RFIs & Documentation Contribute to RFP and RFI responses with guidance from senior team members Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, demos, and requirements What You’ll Bring: 2 – 4+ years’ experience in Fund Administration, Asset Management, or Financial Services Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand systems, data flows, and platform capabilities Strong understanding of fund operations, including areas such as reconciliation, NAV oversight, fund accounting, middle office processes, or depositary functions Experience working with systems or platforms (either demonstrating SaaS products or working with internal tools/data in an operational role) Exposure to demos, discovery sessions, or presenting systems to stakeholders (internally or externally) Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ambiguous requirements and translate them into clear, structured solutions Clear and confident communication skills, comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and develop A genuine interest in technology, automation, and building scalable solutions Nice to Have 2+ years’ experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar client-facing role Experience in a pre-sales or client-facing environment within fintech or SaaS Hands-on experience with reconciliation, NAV oversight, or data control processes Experience working with data (e.g. analysing, mapping, or transforming datasets) Familiarity with data automation, ETL, or reconciliation tools.   • Senior Technical Support Engineer, Ireland

    About the role We’re looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Support Engineering Team. They will be tasked with troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, sometimes through liaising with developers and fixing or escalating the issue where appropriate. They will be expected to keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence while tracking issues through to resolution. Together with the rest of the team, they will participate in the development of tools, systems, and processes which aim to identify improvement opportunities for both the customers and internal processes by improving product supportability and driving innovation and quality to improve overall operational efficiency. This role is based in the Republic of Ireland, and we cannot facilitate remote working outside of Ireland for this position. We cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role. What you’ll do Monitor and manage the support ticketing system, including incoming requests from clients, to ensure timely response and issue resolution. Regularly monitor and track SLA compliance for all support tickets and cases. Maintain clear and detailed records within each ticket, including all communication with clients, steps taken to resolve issues, and any relevant troubleshooting notes. Communicate with clients in a prompt, professional and courteous manner, to provide updates on the status of their tickets and to gather additional information if needed. Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training. Use log analysis tools and techniques to detect patterns or anomalies that may indicate underlying problems, working to resolve them promptly to prevent customer disruptions. Assume ownership of system alerts and maintain ongoing coordination with other teams to enhance and optimize raised alerts. Document log analysis findings and resolutions to create a knowledge base of potential issues and their solutions. Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management. What you’ll bring Have a technical degree in a relevant discipline (IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering etc.) or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of relevant work experience. Basic working knowledge and experience of Cloud Computing. Be self‑motivated, flexible and a quick learner. Able to work to a deadline, alone and as part of a team. Have a strong technical and problem‑solving ability. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. Focus on the customer and solving their problems. Always be looking for a better way to do things and be willing to question convention. Strong communication, and organizational skills. Technical Stack We use Groovy/Grails, Java, MySQL, Hibernate, Tomcat, jQuery, React. We make extensive use of AWS, including EC2/VPC/ELB/AutoScaling/S3/SQS/RDS/ElasticSearch. Jira Service Management is our Ticket Managing System, Confluence is our Knowledge base and Kibana is our Logging system. Experience using the above is a bonus but not a requirement. We like quick learners and if you can bring in tools we’re not already using, all the better.
