  • Service Booking Advisor  

    - Dublin

    This is a key role in advising to our customers in respect of the care of their vehicles and explaining the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with BMW & MINI specifications. Based in Frank Keane Naas Road, it provides the link between our highly trained workshop technicians and our customers while delivering customer focused service. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact with customers either in person or by telephone/email, seeking to convert customer enquiries, when appropriate, to service bookings. Inspect customers vehicles service history to accurately identify and verify all customers service needs and in particular to ensure that all customers concerns are correctly captured on the job card. Record customers details accurately, clarify payment options at the time of booking and confirm time for pickup. Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the vehicle and associated service requirements. Identify and communicate with the sales department prospective new/used car sales prospects. Providing direct support to the Service Manager & Service Advisors. Assist in Service administration procedures. Update records and databases with personnel, financial and vehicle data. Handle administrative requests and queries from management. Ensure efficient processing of Service Department paperwork. To deliver customer satisfaction scores in line with BMW and Frank Keane Group standards. Support other departments where required / other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: Excellent customer service skills, professional phone manner and work ethic essential. Experience in the motor industry or similar role with a premium brand an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook. Ability to work well in a process driven environment. Attention to detail and problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced retail car Sales Executive with a proven track record of at least 3 years of selling premium new vehicles. Experience working in the motor Industry within a premium franchised brand is a key requirement. Reporting to the Head of Sales , the key responsibilities for the role will include: To sell new and used vehicles via the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieving the best profit for the business Deliver a first class service & customer experience Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange Using various sources, prospect for new and used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities Comply with the BMW/MINI sales process & manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of the vehicle and its controls Introduce customers to Aftersales staff in order that they are aware of the facilities and procedures Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.     Frank Keane BMW are Dublins largest BMW retailer, located at Naas Road, Walkinstown,Dublin 12, with showrooms and Aftersales facilities that have been equipped and developed to the very latest BMW standards. As a result of significant operation expansions, we are now recruiting for career-oriented Qualified & Part-Qualified Motor Technicians to join our Naas Road team. This position includes the option to work a 4 day week (40hr week). The Role: The ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy environment. Responsibilities include: Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW / MINI retailer standards. Communicating with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform workshop manager if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary. Diagnosing cause of any malfunction and perform repair after confirming authorization by customer. Saving and tagging any and all parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer. Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notifying service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs can not be completed within the time promised. Road-testing vehicles to spot check work performed. Keeping abreast of BMW/MINI technical bulletins and attend factory sponsored training classes. Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards Requirements: Qualified Technician - a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience - ideally working with the BMW / MINI brand. Ability to clearly complete job card write ups with a thorough understanding of the requirements of factory standards for warranty write-ups. Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required to service advisors or customers as required. Previous experience working with ADP/Kerridge environment would be an advantage. Only applicants with a suitable work visa should apply.
