    Location: Dublin (hybrid) Contract type: Permanent Role Purpose The Engineering Manager reports to a Senior Engineering Manager and will be accountable for software planning, designing, coding, unit testing, deploying and supporting working software within Global Sportsbook & Trading. You will drive the evolution of your team's software delivery capability and provide an exciting and rewarding career development for your team. Location – Leeds/Dublin Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only) Permanent Role Purpose This individual will support the Director of Internal Audit for Flutter Functions in managing a team of auditors in the delivery of audits across UKI and CEE Region. UKI is currently covering multiple brands, Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting and Gaming, Tombola, and PokerStars. CEE is comprised of Adjarabet, Maxbet and Singular. Responsible for driving improvements to corporate governance, risk management and internal control. Takes responsibility for regional ExCo relationships. What You’ll Do Setting and promoting high standards of audit work and ensuring high-standard quality audit reports are delivered consistently Sugesting beneficial changes to audit methodologies and procedures Responsible for audit plan delivery in UKI and CEE regions Accountable for audit methodology used within Flutter Functions and, therefore QA results Leading audits where data analytics is a key element of the review Monitoring management's responses and implementation of agreed management actions Ensuring effective business changes are introduced because of audit findings Responsible for the content and quality of month-end packs sent to management Working as a partner to the business in identifying significant process and structure improvements to assist in meeting its corporate objectives How You’ll Do It Advanced analytical and technical auditing skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Active membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or related Internal Audit qualifications would be an advantage. Experience in the gambling sector or a similar highly regulated environment would be an advantage. Experience in planning, managing and delivering audits from Big 4 or similar would be an advantage. Advanced ability to identify thematic audit issues and associated risks, root causes and provide practical solutions. Working with the audit team to report impactful issues and drive meaningful change. Advanced project/time management skills. Ability to oversee and manage multiple audit projects, early identification of cross-project dependencies and impacts, and act to de-risk project delivery impact. Measure of Success Develop a robust understanding of the UKI regional business, its risk and auditable landscape and able to identify priority areas for assessment.   • Head of Architecture - Technology Operations Reports to: Group Director Technology Operations. Location: UK / Ireland (Travel required). Role purpose As part of the Technology Operations function in Flutter Functions, the Head of Architecture will be accountable for the architecture of critical technology operations capabilities, including service delivery frameworks, security architecture principles, and cloud infrastructure strategy. The role holder will lead a team of architects to define the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the target state technology operations architecture, including implementing the vital processes and mechanisms that will enable alignment to the vision and roadmap. The role is pivotal to supporting not only Flutter Tech, but will also consult and influence all brands and divisions within the group to align on Technology Operations strategies and architecture. The role holder will need to have strong convictions and opinions on what the right thing to do is for the long term operational excellence of the group, whilst simultaneously being sympathetic and supportive to the short to medium terms needs of other teams, brands, and divisions. The right candidate will have experience working with large‑scale technology operations in enterprise organisations on infrastructure modernisation and security transformation projects. This will have involved a service‑obsessed and collaborative approach, coupled with a deep technical understanding of operational frameworks, service management, security principles, and cloud infrastructure to provide confidence and answer questions. An ability to engage and help crystallise operational benefits of architectural decisions, demonstrate deep understanding of cloud solutions and global connectivity, and a passion for operational excellence through secure architectural principles is key.
